As I believe that Miroslav and DJBlu worked on this code here, DJBlu's is somewhat of an extension. If you go in to settings and simply enable numbering and EPG it will order correctly and just grab the EPG... Everything else is optional from what I can tell.

So can I just install the first two downloads on the link below (i.e. the two links for MP 1.2.3 Final) and these are the exact two that Mirsolav would have uploaded here in any event?

No not quite. DJBlu has massively enhanced the capabilities of his work to create the custom data grabber, much more powerful than this version. It will enable TVE to act like a Sky Box and do channel shifting, adding etc... If you want an RC compatible version of the Sky EPG then his is the only version at present.

I don't think miroslav has been around since December now, can we assume that development of this is stalled and we won't see a 1.3 version any time soon? Has anyone here transitioned to the alternative (DJBlu's) successfully? (i.e. painlessly!)
Can't comment on actually trying to upgrade to DJBlu's but I can say it works great and you should be more than happy. Also, because DJBlu handles channel lists and everything, theres hardly any TVServer/Channel set up so all you have to worry about are your preferences and plugins if you decide to do a clean install.
You will need to do a fresh install if moving to DJBlu's grabber, his version includes database changes not found in Miro's version. You need to have full 1.3 installed prior to installing the DJBlu mods.
One hint: I find it to be a better experience if you let DJBlu's do its initial grabbing first to build up all the sky groups & then you build your own channel group/list if you desire one rather than import before grabbing anything.

Thanks for the info, appreciated. I've just tried installing 1.3 on a cloned hard disk in my main HTPC server, it's not gone especially well, had to completely uninstall 1.2.3 with miroslav's code to get 1.3 to install, also ended up having to uninstall and re-install MySQL to get it to work, which I wasn't expecting. Still, it's there now and scanning on the first card, will take some fiddling to get everything up and running as it was before, then I'll try again with DJBlu's code. Glad I took a copy of the hard disk as a backup!
