I'll try and compile a 1.1.2 release tomorrow evening.

Miroslav - did you manage a 1.1.2 compile? I'm keen to upgrade from 1.1.0 as there are a couple of bugs in the old epg grab (I need to restart my server every week or else I don't get a full set of EPG).

I had been looking at Big Kevs package but the latest posts seem to suggest it is no longer supported. Are you using it with MP 1.1.2 and can you confirm it works OK? If so I might give it a go with one of the free DNS services.

I also use the "don't record duplicates" - but I still get repeats, even though the title and episode no. are identical.

Unfortunately yes it appears BigKev is no longer maintaining it but I am actually using it with the latest 1.2 code and it is just about flawless. Only issues are they by default the series settings only keep 5 episodes so unless you change this later you can start loosing recordings and the new weekly on this channel schedule type are not supported. Other than that it works well and supports the odd time I am away and suddenly realise I have missed a recording

Do you actually have series / episode details stored as series / episode data or is this just in the EPG text? It needs to be in the actual database fields and you need to set which value to use to identify unique episodes

Yes I have, and I have tried both title and number. Unfortunately it's not consistent so I can't track it down. Not a major issue though, except that sometimes repeats get scheduled and then clash with something new.

The freesat epg grabber does this.

You need to select a channel in the EPG grabber that is on the default Freesat transponder. "Men & Movies" Tv Channel or "Freesat Info" radio channel.

This will update the radio epg.

Did you ever have a copy of your plugin working with MEPO 1.1.1 stable. This new database is a farce and it combining every channel with the same name on every satellite ( even though they are different regional variations with different schedules) under the same name which really stupid and badly thought through. It's a pain having to manually add channels just to get around this stupid new database system. scanning another satellite messes up UK channels too that where scanned with your plugin.
