Hi,

I am currently creating a few changes in the TVGuide of the TV plugin that will

a. Allow users to change the groups from the top of the page. Like the Sky HD Guide.
b. Allow users to change channels by number outside of the selected group. i.e. Zap to Sky Sports 1 will be possible if in the Kids group. This is almost complete and should be .

What I am having trouble with is the Skin file of the TV Guide for item a. I know you are busy with other stuff so if you can assist then this would be great.

With regards to b. above, I have spent the weekend adding a new IR receiver, and configuring my Harmony One remote - I have set up graphical icons for the wife, so she can select channels from the icon, however it obviously only works when in the All Channels group. Is the additional functionality you have done able to be added to my build without a reinstall?

I'm running 1.2.0A still because I need Moving Pictures and TV Series.

Where do we find the 1.1.6 svn and associated freesat EPG patch (and does it contain all the new functionality such as automatic updating of channels)? The version on the front page of this thread gives 1.1.1.26462.

Just registered. Been using mediaportal for a few months and only now getting into some more advanced stuff and came across this wonderful addon.

Thanks for the hard work put into this.

The only issue I seem to have at the moment is that I only seem to have 3 days EPG for all the channels. Is this expected?

Hi there,

2 - 3 days sounds like the normal EPG that is transmited with the channel - and not the EPG data that this enhancement allows for.

Can you post your complete logs and config.

Could you let me know which logs you want to see?

My config is a single seat installation of MP 1.2.0 Alpha with the Sky Enhancements installed (client and server) on Win 7x64 Ultimate.
Using a TBS 6981 Dual DVB-S Card, and connecting to a separate Linux Server running newcs 1.67 with my White Sky card.

Quick update

A manual EPG Update has given me the full 7 day EPG.

Seems not to be updating automatically....will investigate...

Hi there,

Ok, if you can get 7 days on a manual update, then it sounds like your settings might be wrong (or need tweaking) in TV Server "DVB EPG"

I think I had the same issue as you (although I can;t remember what I did yesterday!), and the only way I could force it was to tick the "Always try to update existing entries" option.

Just for info, my settings are:

Only select the EPG Background Audio Channel
Always try to fill holes (ooooer)
Always try to update existing entries
Enable CRC
EPG Grabbing while idle - Timeout 40 minutes (not sure why I chose that)
EPG Grabbing while idle - Refresh every 240

Any chance of a new build based on a version of 1.2.0 which works with Moving Pictures & TV Series, and also incorporating Miroslav22's Disk IO patch (https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...stuttering-corrupted-streaming-live-tv-91214/) ?

I reckon I should think about figuring out how to compile my own versions at some point, but currently trying to study an OU course!
