I'm after 1.2 with channel scanner, is that bit released yet?

Sorry I know it's a bit confusing.

The channel scanner has been programmed by DJBlu and the code for this isn't available yet. There's only one installer containing this release that DJBlu posted but is built over a post-1.2.0 Alpha version so MovingPictures and a few other plugins don't work with this.

All the other versions only contain the Sky EPG grabbing and series link. The new installer posted today is version 1.1 of this (see changes in first post) and contains the DiskIO patch v3.

Hopefully the channel scanner can be merged in soon. We might only be able to do this for 1.2.0 beta (due soon) and above though because it's becoming really difficult to service all these versions.

that makes some sense! It's a shame to lose the channel scanner but the diskio patch makes it a no brainer, HD really is annoying otherwise!

Finally finished building the PC in the early hours of this morning!

I ended up having to import my channel list because the missus likes the channel groups - and in the absence of the channel scanner code, there is no easy way to obtain them!

EPG grab starts (I can see in Manual Control panel) but it never seems to actually populate?

Any ideas, or is this the same issue you were referring to with regards to the EPG Grabbing?

It could be - did you check the "Grab Sky UK epg" option?

I did indeed - and when I look in manual control, I can see it grabbing EPG from Background EPG radio channel as per usual.

Do you have your channels in groups as per Sky? If so, could you export them and post them here for me to try?

I have done some work over the weekend on the Channel Scanner as there are a lot of items I didn't anticipate.

2 x Tuners. 1 on Sky UK and 1 on Sky Italia. This is causing no end of trouble, With Channel ID's. I'm beginning to think we will need to use a string value for the Channel ID and put the Network ID at the beginning, i.e. Sky UK will be 2_12345. Sky Italy 318_12345.

The Channel Numbering, what a nightmare!!

I have now added an option to number by Provider. You can disable using Sky Italy's numbering if you want to use Sky UK's and vise versa.

I am close to adding Quick Scan for 1w and 5e also.

Replacing SD Channels with HD channels is now possible also.

I'll have something to show by Friday.

I'll release the source code then also.

No, it puts the Channel ID in the ExternalID field.
