Try deselecting EPG Background Audio and selecting IEPG Data.

Don't know why but I can't get the EPG Grabber to work unless I select IEPG Data.

I haven't compiled the DiskIo patch into this (it's just if I had it makes it difficult to separate the changes i've made tonight). I'll post another full version including it when we're happy the EPG is working

I think the problem was the grabber could (and probably was) using either a non-satellite tuner, or a tuner not pointed at 28.2. The checks i've added should fix this if that was the cause.

Will try it in a sec - one thing I noticed, when I imported my channels, the groups were in a different order to that which the missus is used to..

i.e. Entertainment was 2nd from the bottom of the list. Is there a way to reorder the group list? I'm sure there is, but I can't find it!

I tried this, it didn't make any difference on my setup unfortunately..

@Miroslav, the latest version seems to be working just fine, well done that man!!

It does seem to take longer than it used to for grabbing the EPG though, or maybe it is just my perception?

Bit busy the rest of the week but I'll try and sort out new versions for 1.1.2 and 1.2.0 Alpha (with diskio) as soon as I can.

Edit: psykix not sure about the speed, perhaps it's waiting for the configured timeout (rather than finishing as soon as everythings grabbed). I'll check this.

You can organise the order of the groups in setup tv, on tv channels with tabs of the groups across the top hold down your left mouse button on a group and drag to which ever position you want it

Only manage to do a quick test with files from last night and all has seems ok so far, my epg populated ok but I did notice when I did the manual refresh of the epg it was grabbing it from sky active even though I only had epg background enabled but still worked so that's all that matters

Ah you've just reminded me

Just to add you don't need to have any radio channels selected with the new version (just the Grab Sky option). It dynamically finds all the channels on the default transponder at grab time and tunes to the first one (or cycles through them all if any fail).

Therefore you might see it tune to a channel you're not used to.

It's safe to still have the radio channels checked but they won't trigger the EPG grab or have any effect.

Thinking about it now I did deselect epg background for a min or 2 then enabled it again so maybe it had already started to grab from sky active as I had sky epg UK ticked too.
I have noticed my CPU level isn't so high now on hd channels so certainly disk i/o patch seems to be working it's magic too
