It's still incomplete unfortunately (few "user-friendly" bits and pieces to do), i've not worked on it for a while but I hope to finish it soon

After 1.2.0 is released, MP is moving from SVN to GIT, at which point i'll create 2 branches. One for the stable EPG grabbing/series link that we have now. One for finishing the development of this channel scanner.

The current stable EPG code I hope to merge into 1.3.0 official. Channel scanning timescale is unclear.

Hi,
I've been using this for a fair while now and love it... Looking forward to the rc version so I can update things. has been working absolutely perfectly for me... So many thanks for all of the good work...

One thing I would like to understand is what is likely to be the way forward for this functionality, there seem to be two similar projects at the moment, can anyone comment on how they compare? In particular how well do they work for people like me that have a mixture of DVB-S and DVB-T cards and that only use the free to air services? So far this project has let me do everything I need, I can use the sky epg to provide data for all of the channels I use (except for the BBC red button sports channel which I use the web-epg service to grab). Many of the auto scanning features are of no real interest to me, I'm happy to arrange the channels in the order I like, and can deal with the not that frequent changes by hand....

Hi Gloomyandy, I have the same setup as yourself and, also like you, prefer to setup and arrange my own channels, so would really be interested in what systems and process you use for setting up your EPG, red button, etc.

Download link on first post. Apologies to those who sent me a PM last week, was mad busy.

Note: Apologies as once again you can't upgrade from a previous Sky version as there are more database changes from 1.2.0 beta. You need to do a fresh install of vanilla 1.2.0RC1 and install this over the top. You can export and then re-import your database so you don't lose anything

I haven't been able to test the installers but they should work ok. Let me know if there are problems
