why should it not be supported. just install the right codecs like SAF or CoreAVC
Well haven't installed the new StreamedMP on MP 1.0.2 yet! I have however found that not only does switching to plugins works normal and fast, also marking movies or series as read and other context menu option work a lot faster then with the new MP and StreamedMP. There is most definitely something wrong, my setup is finally running 100% as it should, I'm going to play around a little with this setup to see if there are other things that work better then it does with new MP and StreamedMP. If I don't find anything in a day or two I'll install newest StreamedMP and report back.
You're also using an asrock ion330. I played around with the x-factor skin but it is also slow, especially with opening the music section. You said you used MP v1.0.2 but with only an atom cpu and ion chipset how did you play hd movies well as gpu acceleration it is not supported in v1.0.2?

With the SAF codec pack you get hardware acceleration. I even play Blu-ray's from disc as I have the Blu-ray version of the Asrock ION330. This machine is more then powerful enough to be an HTPC and menu's are just as fast with MP 1.0.2 and StreamedMP 0.8.448 as it was with my AMD X2 4850 and the ATI HD3200. It is smooth responsive and fast. The problem is not with the ION330 but something to do with either StreamedMP's newest version or the new SVN's from MP. That is why I'm doing the tests to see when slow menu's start to pup their ugly heads.![]()
