I can't get mkv file linking to work in MP. It does work in mpc-hc. Plenty of anime is done with file linking, and some movies with different cuts have file linking.

Is mkv file linking supported in MP?

Hi, it's supported only by haali for now, when LAV can support it, we can integrate it in MP :)

I'm using haail as default splitter, but it doesn't work in mp.

Can you try this sample with two parts linked together?
Part 1 is 18 sec, part 2 is 17. If the file linking is working you should only need to open part 1 and the total time displayed should be 35 sec.

    file-linking.zip

Thanks for looking into this. :D

    Hi :)

It's working when using haali, i have a total lenght of 34 second on MP and Graphstudio by opening first file :)
So i think (assume) that haali is not use when you open that first file.

You're giving me hope that it's gonna work. But I can't get it to work. As I said it works with mpc-hc.

What I have done is uninstalled LAV filter and tested mp with default skin, but it doesn't work.
I even did a test in debug mode, it didn't work. I attached the *.zip file.

Maybe by forcing haali to mkv, can you try to open first file in graphstudio ? to see if it's haali as source splitter ?

In grapgstudio haail is used but it only show the runtime of the first file. So then I uninstalled haail and reinstalled it and now it works. Don't know what happen to haail, maybe LAV splitter did something to it's installation?

Thanks for helping me Sebastiii :D

Hi there, since I changed TV and HTPC's CPU, I'm wondering if this guide: Guide could be considered still good today, since it's been almost 13 years since then and it's still referring to a resolution of 1080p? I say this because I have a new Panasonic 4K HDR TV, and with that settings, even if I have an old Gygabyte GPU (bought...
