Are you sure that the PDVD10 codec is used under MP?
Can you run MP in windowed mode and connect to it with GrapStudio while it is playing to double check that PDVD10 codec is used?
BTW, last time i tryed LAVF + PDVD10 decoder for interlaced VC-1, the timestamps was broken - video play at wrong speed. That was fixed?
LAVF is future, but it will take a lot of time until nevcairiel fix/add all features.
nevcairiel said:I might have figured out the cause of the videos not starting. The MPC-HC splitters all have some funny code to interpolate timestamps when none exist, and i didnt implement anything like that yet. The files i tested all seem to have no proper timestamps on the first few video frames, thus causing the renderer to fail, as it doesnt know when to show them.
Going to investigate some more.
without dxva
This is the best I can come up with...
Microsoft DMO
DOES NOT WORK WITH:
Gabests MPEG Splitter (Blu-ray handler) - half frame rate/jumpy
I don't use SAF, causes more problems than it solves.
I have two VC-1i *.m2ts samples, both didn't work correctly before, now they play with correct timestamps on my PC (Win7X64 + ATI 5770) and HTPC (WinXP + ATI 5450).I like to have control of my codecs. I don't like to use codec packs that try and set things up for me.
Are you saying that Gabests MPEG Spliiter now works with Microsoft DMO and you don't get jumpy video? I'm sure I'm using the latest version and still get jumpy video from Blu-ray using the Blu-ray handler which uses Gabests MPEG Splitter.
If you don't like SAF, you can figure it by yourself, it is a secretWhat does SAF do differently?
