Did you follow the comprehensive description provided by cacti?
If you did, and you still struggle, please provide accurate description of what happens and what you see. Even screenshots of your setup can greatly assist in pointing you in the right direction.

Here is my alternative (beginners) guide for getting the DSTV EPG.

1. Download and install WebGrab+Plus V1.0.9 from here: WebGrab+Plus, an advanced XMLTV grabber - ServerCare home

2. Extract attached WebGrab+Plus DSTV.zip to WebGrab+Plus Directory (C:\ProgramData\ServerCare\WebGrab) overwriting files.

3. If needed edit the WebGrab++.config.xml file to select which channels you want the EPG for, look below " <!--South Africa (RSA)-->" for the channels you want to edit.

4. Extract attached EPG.zip. This EPG.bat file will run WebGarb+Plus and retrieve the EPG for the next 7 days and copy the tvguide.xml to the correct directory for you. Set up a task in Task Scheduler to run this daily. Run this at least once before you can import the channels into the TV Server Config

5. Download and install my DSTV Logo Pack found here: MEDIAPORTAL - DSTV Logos (South Africa)

6. Open up TV Server config and import export.xml found in attached export.zip. To do this Select Import/Export on the bottom left, the select the import tab and click on the "Import now" button and browse to the export.xml file.

7. Next go to plugins and if needed enable XmlTV. Under XmlTV goto Mappings and click "Load/Refresh". This should map all imported Channels to the correct EPG data. If nothing is visible you need to run EPG.bat at least once, then try again.

8. Next expand TV Channels -> TV Mapping and manually map all the channels to your TV Card. (Tip: Select top channel, hold shift and press end key, this will select all the channels for you, then hit the ">>" to move the channels across, make sure you have selected the correct TV card to map the channels too)

9. Hit "OK" and exit. All Done I hope I didn't miss out any steps, working mainly from memory

The reason I use the method is because I have better control over which channels I download, also if a new channel comes online ie Comedy Central, I can quickly added it.
