This issue commonly occurs when there is no connection to the database. Try entering the recordings screen which will force a database connection to be initiated. If that does not fix it, you probably have misconfigured your client or a firewall is blocking connections to the database.

I just installed MP last week. The guide used to work but since yesterday I also have this problem. It says 'label not found' (if I translate it correctly from Dutch). Going into recordings screen doesn't solve it. Selecting a group and then back to all groups does but everytime you go to the EPG, the error is there again. Also the planner is empty while I'm sure there are programs scheduled.

Firewall sounds plausible because Windows updates itself every now and then. I don't have a virus scanner because my system is dedicated to Media Portal, so it should be the Windows firewall. I'm not black belt in system administration so could you give a little hint how I could enable my Windows firewall to accept the connection you mean?

Ok, I've created the logs but you sure there's no privacy info in this? I'd like you to look in it (very grateful) but I'd rather pm the whole zip.

ok hold on.. i've found another log file location with apparently the basic log files.

Without them there is no way to know what is happening in your system
