not sure if this is skin related or not....

when i play an episode in tvseriesplugin (say s07e12) and then stop, it jumps back to the first episode of the respective season (in this case s07e01). it doesn't happen every time, but every so often. any ideas?

TVSeries sets the first available unwatched item in focus when entering the view. An enhancement request would be required to the plugin to stop this behaviour.

Im not sure, but sounds like a plugin issue not a skin issue. Possibly its occurring when an import finishes as re-loads the facade. Its hard to say as I haven't ever witnessed the issue.

If you can track it down with re-producible steps then I will gladly investigate.

however, it's such a minor issue that i really don't want you to waste your time on it. if the 'problem' persists and i'm able to reproduce it on a regular basis, then i'd gladly hand you over any info i got

A Debug log of MP-TVseries.log would be all I need, but it still may not provide any clues on why its happening. If you can keep a history of your logs after it happens ie. shutdown mediaportal and backup up your log. Then you can send me a zip so I can see if there is something common happening when you notice the issue.

There is still some more core work to be done, for instance the built in 'Setup wizard' is incomplete. I would prefer to keep the Beta label until all Core work is completed.

I will try find some time and list what still needs to be done...the google code page has not been updated for a very long time.

Mattsk88 is pretty busy with his study at the moment, this is more important so thats fair enough. I still bother him on occasion for help Everyone else, losttown and spuck are very much alive and contributing still.

Just a running log on my current experience updating to the latest StreamedMP. Some/most will likely just be n00b issues, others just cuz I don't think right...

. Installation was simple.

. Running MP for the first time aftwards took >5 minutes to start with huge amounts of disk I/O. I suspect it was rebuilding caches somewhere. I almost aborted it but thought better.

. my custom menu was gone - big (huge) shock. I should have expected it, but unfortunately didn't. What I thought would take 5 minutes to update has taken >3 hours so far. I'm still trying to rebuild things.

. TV doesn't show the EPG - I get a single box labelled "SBS" but no other channels and no programs. I'm running FTR 1.3.3. I see that this latest StreamedMP update has included support for FTR 1.4, which hasn't been released yet. Shouldn't this release of StreamedMP, which is a final release, include support for a supported release of FTR rather than some future release? Also the link to the 1.3.3 XML file is actually a link to some sort of programmer's editor page. I cant download any file from that page.

- Noticed one thing that keeps mixing me up. The exit screens that show the 3 coloured boxes to exit, restart, etc.: The "Restart MediaPortal" actually reboots the machine rather than restarting MP. Kind of mis-named; it should either restart MP or be labelled "Reboot PC" or something. And since the right-hand selection (Reboot options) already includes the ability to reboot the box, isn't this centre option redundant as-is?

[update at 2:19am: Got around to making the music section look like suggested; BRILLIANT. I also installed the ASIO thingie and now listening to an album. Talk about visually and aurally swept away.

Completely blown away. Loving it.

Agreed, the EPG is one of the best things about Streamed.

This skin + the plugins it includes + the great additional plugin support (it's rare now to see a new plugin that doesn't support Streamed in addition to the two default ones) are what takes MediaPortal to the top of the heap. In my mind MediaPortal tops even XBMC, but only with StreamedMP installed.
