Cool that will be wicked, I'll work on the mockups a bit more to get things finalised.

(1) Is it possible to create a sliding menu/side menu that goes on top that can have access to the buttons [my playlist / music search / my lyrics] that way i could also retain the
top album tracksx3 and top tagged tracksx3 options.

(2) Are there any other buttons or links that should be in the playing now window, I only have StreamedMP 8.4XXX so maybe there are some new bits that have been added since?

Thanks, I'm quite happy with the looks so far too. Here are mockups with your suggestion.
I'm not really sold on having the icons in the right corner, because they will sometimes cover up people's faces, i think a slider that comes accross (eg. in my movies when you press the side arrow you get an option menu popup). I think this would keep the now playing window looking much simplier and less cluttered. These ones also don't have the horizontal divider at the bottom of the fanart and I've tried to reposition the currently playing track details to allow for longer names.

I don't have this (Still using old StreamedMP + MP1.0.2), can you please post a screen shot of this (preferably rename hover_my music.png to hover_my music.png.bak, so that i can see it with a black background to capture a screenshot of it). If you could also post a sample of the topped tagged tracks bit, because i'm not sure how it's supposed to look.

kiwijunglist, we use the new VU Meter support in 1.1.0 if enabled otherwise we use the old multi-image as shown in your screenshot. The images we use are:

1. Do you have any opinion on side menus? Is it possible to code the top album tracks etc on to the side menu?
2. If no side menus what buttons would you like available on the now playing screen (if any)
3. If no side menus how important is the top album tracks / top tagged tracks
4. Is the top tagged track things still used, because i havn't seen it come up lately (but i think i removed tags from my music collection)
5. I assume you are still using the same hover_music background as in StreamedMP 8.4XXX?
6. Opinion re: glass cd cover overlays?
7. Opinion re: hollow unrated stars, gold stars? (Maybe gold stars don't integrate well with rest of the skin)

I like the ability to hide the top album tracks / top tags tracks in the hidden menu as I find them completely useless. But the problem will be showing the hidden menu. We need something to loose focus from to invoke the animation, I suppose we could possibly use a hidden button or something. Im not sure will have to experiment.

Zero in my opinion...others might find it useful though. Not sure.

Yes, they still populate for some of my collection.

I dont care either way, as long as they not done in facade control (thumbs, filmstrip). Maybe make it optional.

Hollow unrated stars are better I think. I started doing this for MovingPictures using White Stars.
