Just so you know kiwijunglist, users will only choose one or the other for VUMeters. Basically there is three skin files and MediaPortal loads based on the VUMeter option chosen (none,led,an)

I like the ability to hide the top album tracks / top tags tracks in the hidden menu as I find them completely useless. But the problem will be showing the hidden menu. We need something to loose focus from to invoke the animation, I suppose we could possibly use a hidden button or something. Im not sure will have to experiment.

Maybe the stars can be the hidden menu. Pressing enter on the hidden menu then either;
1. bring up diaglog box asking for rating, or
2. alter the current rating by +1 (Rating =0, if rating =5)

I dont care either way, as long as they not done in facade control (thumbs, filmstrip). Maybe make it optional.

I dunno what facade control is, it's just a semi transparent cdcover.png positioned ontop of the album picture.

Yea, was just combing them on single screens so i didn't have to upload as many pictures.
That's good that they are seperate xml files it means the layout can be fine tuned to the meter type.
