I've posted a somewhat summire guide on how to go about here.
You will be needing to edit some XML. The changing bit for HTPCInfo values (like CPU temp) is the easiest part. The visibility conditions (when this overlay appears) are a bit trickier. You need to look up the corresponding ID values in your basichome.

Just a minor fix for TV OSD.
The next show displays as:

"Sledi: %s (%s - %s)"

The params, in order of appearance:
Show title
Start time
End time

The "Sledi:" should be some translated string (meaning "Next:" as in "next show"), but I'm not really sure how to use strings from MP translations files in a skin...

Example (this is what a user would see after this patch):
Sledi: Transformers ( 20:00 - 22:10)
Current (without the patch):
Transformers
A minor fix anyway. I would expect this to be included in the main skin trunk, not as a Mod. And it's not a bug fix either. More like a feature made just a little more complete

Thanks velis, I think that is more clearer on the OSD so will make that change. I will update the translation as well.

Anyway, this is an insane skin. Wish it became THE DEFAULT skin for MP.

Now if only the TV mfgs started including RTSP clients into their TVs

I'm using StreamedMP in the BasicHome screen mode. Whenever I press the "green button" on my MCE remote (and MePo is already running, in BasicHome screen), it switches to the other home screen, which I do not want. Is there a way to prevent this? I.e. do nothing when the green button is pressed and MePo is already running? I'm only using the green button to start MediaPortal when it's closed.

Yes as joz mentioned, when MediaPortal 1.2 Alpha is released you can disable StandardHome from General->Skin in configuration.

Mod : MP Grooveshark

Hi, i mack a rally quice mod for MP Grooveshark plugin ....
base on the skin file of B3W maid orginly by the great Cul8er ....
see screen ...

to instal : unrer my file ,copy the picture.png from my Media folder to streamemp media folder , then copy the 2 xml file's
from my Skin folder to streamemp skin folder , don't forget to clear the chach...



Edit : 12-09-2010 , update the mod ,now when first enter or if no have artist fanart ,have a back drop see screen with backdrop i use , but you can use any backdrop png you wont just rename it : hover_mp grooveshark.png ,
to get the backdrop i mack see her ...https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...version-v0-5-1-a-84678/index2.html#post640483 , or you also can use the orange backdrop 3 post down ...
also by rename the backdrop to : hover_mp grooveshark it will view in basichome ... so no more black backgrownd ..
