the screenshots look awesome. Tried to install youre modification without success. I overwrite the xml files in the StreamedMP folder an copied the png´s in the media directory. Does this require a previous mod?

Was not really for user testing but should work ok, remember you will need cul8er's Fanarthandler (which is still beta but works ok) check this thread https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/x-factor-316/fanart-handler-73219/index7.html#post533428

The VUMeter xmls are for MP1.1beta, not sure what version you are running there.

I'm reminded of Aeon skin for XMBC when I see kiwijunglist's latest mockups.

This is done at X-Factor skin for MP, perhaps it would bring some ideas on how to implement this.

Where can I get the logos from the first pic? THE 720p/bluray/dts logos...

jukster - download the .zip file for aeon stark from xbmc forums, the logos will be in there.

trevor - I've redone the artist overlays. I've also added slightly more room to the bottom and designed them to take a 16:9 image. I also seperated the arist overlay png file into two seperate pngs that you layer ontop of each other in the skin, because it improves the fade effect substantially.

Attached is the artist overlay in two parts, and also a single file version so you can observe the difference (mostly with white artist images). I think the 2 part looks better because part1 is greyscale so can contain a better fading gradient. This overlay also doesn't rely on having the music background present behind the fanart image. (Although you should also try with the default music background present behind the fanart to check it doesn't make a difference). The single part overlay file seems to have a greater reliance on having hover_music.png present in the background. See the psd file for fanart placement, and also slight mods to the fades if needed.

So the layering from top layer -> bottom layer would be
    aritst_overlay(part1).png
    aritst_overlay(part2).png
    fan art image (XPOS=420, YPOS=0, WIDTH=860 HEIGHT=484) - or height = 482/483 possibly
    hover_mymusic.png (optional)

Overlay Photoshop files -> MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service (18 MB)

Overlay png files (x3) -> MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service (2.24 MB)

Sorry can't do attachments as I'm close to my attachment limit.

Re: Streamed MP: Community Mods & Bug Fixes - Music Screens

It should give you a base to clean up the graphics, the mask could do with some work. I have not included the CD cover as MP has no masking ability as such so fitting the image in with rounded covers wont work as your mock up.

I think it's probably better without the CD covers as it's more consistent with the rest of streamedmp skin. However i think you can do masking, because i think streamedmp uses masks to get rounded dvd covers in moving pictures.

Thansk for the updated overlay images, fast work will check them later today.

The masking is a little wierd, think of it more as a sandwich background->cover>mask - if you have a single colour background then masking this way easy but problems occur when you fanart. The normal way is them to create what is in effect a mask that is just the border (but a think one :)).

Unless I missed a change going this is how masking is done.

Thanks again for the fast work.

    Wow! Above screenshots look amazing!

could consider dropping "Other images tagged with:...", but keeping best album tracks, because personally i find that bit useless as it's really random, however could just be the way my media is tagged.

Can't help agree with above though. Could there be a non-'other images tagged with' version? :)

    Last.Fm Fanart screen

This is a first pass at doing a fullscreen fanart screen for Last.FM, this again uses cul8er's Fanart handler
