So before i upgrade to MediaPortal 1.2, do i need to unistall Streamed MP.
Is this correct order?

1) Uninstall Streamed MP
2) Upgrade MP 1.1.3 to MP 1.2
3) Install Streamed MP 1.7.1

Should be fine, its only recommended because it allows the previous install to be removed cleanly in-case you choose MediaPortal fresh install instead of Upgrade. It's easy to make that mistake as its the default.

First i wanna say, it's the best skin i've seen.

Now my question. I want to adjust some default backgrounds, but i can't find them. For instance, when i play music with no background, the showed background is a girl who pulls up her socks. I've searched everywhere, but i can't find the image. Anyone an idea?

If you're on Windows 7:
C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\thumbs\Skin Fanart\UserDef

And in the 'Fanart Handler' plugin you can select a 'Specific image when music fanart is not available' or you can choise to use a specific folder.
You can find that setting when you open Fanart Handler plugin (from MediaPortal configuration), tab Music Fanart -> Fanart Settings.

Hm i can not update in MediaPortal Skinsettings. No update available when i click on update. I have v1.6.10....

There is no patch available for v1.6.x.

ah ok this is a new one ? Is the next patch available in mepo. why a new version and no update from earlier version ?

can i update my skinversion or must i uninstall the 1.6.10... and than install the 1.7.1 ? And after this install / update my custom xml / graphic files are lost?
