Is there a way to setup sub categories? Although it is allowed when I create one then neither the top level or the lower level category are displayed. I've tried with a few skins

I am not exactly sure what you are trying to do. It is pretty easy to setup something like this though:

HD Movies
- Unwatched
- Genres
- Year
SD Movies
-Unwatched
-Genres
- Year

Is this what you mean?

You're right this is easy to do. The problem is I was trying to add rule to the top level category
For example

- HD Movies
movie A
movie B
movie C
- James Bond Collection
James Bond 1
James Bond 2
- SD Movies
...
...
...

Something like this is what I'm trying to setup.
Thanks for considering

Fixed, I think. Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this. Last time when I installed the...

Is it possible to instantly access the video categories when landing on the page? I would like to display a single media page with the following...

Hi. I was probably being a bit fast and loose with my terminology. I meant "somewhere within the files that MP2 uses in its database". Anyway, I found a way to do this which was far from automated but relatively low effort. I found what looked like all the images (CD covers, DVD covers, backgrounds etc all lumped together in...

I compliment you on the thoroughness of your investigations. (y) Unfortunately, I don't have any ideas what the problem might be. :( Perhaps someone else will post with some suggestions. -- from CyberSimian in the UK
