MP VERSION: 1.2.3 Beta

DESCRIPTION:
MP config might mess up subtitle settings.

HOW TO REPRODUCE:
Add pref. language in DVB-sub. section (I selected Norwegina-nor,Nor. bokmål - nbo and nynorsk-nno).
Lang. added to right column disappears in left.

Exit config
Enter config

Enter DVB-sub.-section
> Languages are shown on both left and right. Adding same languages results in duplicate, ie
nor
nor
nbo

Moving this to bugsection for confirmation.

Regardless of the above, there is at least a bug in config:

Add pref. language in DVB-sub. section (I selected Norwegina-nor,Nor. bokmål - nbo and nynorsk-nno).
Lang. added to right column disappears in left.

Exit config
Enter config

Enter DVB-sub.-section
> Languages are shown on both left and right. Adding same languages results in duplicate, ie
nor
nor
nbo

Moving this to bugsection for confirmation.

Hi,

I can confirm this too (for subtitle and audio) i think it was the same for a long time before but need to be tested on old MP version to confirm.
When moving/add language to right section pref. language, we can see language disappear from left section but effectively after close/open configuration, they were back.

@Sebastiii: Thread marked as bug, as you confirmed the behavior and concurred.

Guess it needs to be mantis'ed?
Also: How can I easily reset/empty sub settings (cleaning plausible mess in setup).

I can confirm on Audio/subtitle section of TV client :
Adding language to the right (Preferred languages), when closing configuration, theses language left on left side (Available languages).
About cleaning, i suppose it's in mediaportal.xml in :

fra;fre;eng;

fra;fre;eng;nor;nob;nno;

A branch was created with a fix (i hope it's ok) :)

This is a fix for configuration.exe based on master branch, not sure if it will work on 1.3.0Alpha.

I don't know about MP2 but as you said you tried MP1 too, how is the MP music config ? MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback. If you you don't have multichannel music you can choose WASAPI as the output and set the number of speakers to stereo. I have...

Update: Problem solved! The electronic program guides (tvguide.xml) have been successfully transferred to MediaPortal. The issue stemmed from the corruption of one or both of the mc2xml.dat and/or mc2xml.exe files, for an unknown reason. Consequently, even though the tvguide.xml file appeared to be updated, its content kept being an...
