Schicksal: I am currently using Ember .nfo files and covers / fanart as the source for scraping into MyFilms using the NFO.xml script in AMCUpdater. Works a treat! About the only thing missing at this stage is detection of trailers when scraping, but this is easy handled by running a global update for local trailers afterward.
Thanks, will test it. Didn't recognize this change in the "new" version.
----edit------
i've just test it.
nearly everything is fine but on the most entries there is no runtime.
listview, right handside of the cover there are the stars, the year and then the runtime but on the most there is 0 min
in the list with the title of the films there is the runtime right behind the title.
------edit 2nd-------
ehhhmmm, is my films something different to the standard-video-thing in the mepo-client???
Yes, it is a plugin/extension that enables you to use almost any movie catalog/manager with MediaPortal.
If you post a screenshot, it might help me figure out your issue with runtime. MyFilms didn't grab runtime in the past, because it gets it from Media Info which is more accurate for your actual movie/media file. However, latest grabbers now grab runtime but only overwrite it if it doesn't already exist.
I'm just working on the NFO grabber - to add the latest grabber features, get more data, and try to make it work for all the various options different catalogs support.
Interesting. :coffee:
I always have DVB subtitles enabled in "MP Config", but I actually switch on subtitles only for those films that have deafening sound effects and music, combined with inaudible dialogue. I have never noticed the problem that you have described, but I also use the EVR renderer, and not the Madvr renderer. So...

Every so often, when I switch to a TV channel, my MP client stops accepting user inputs, either from the remote or keyboard/mouse...
O Frabjous Joy!
That seems to have done the trick.
Thank you so much for your help and advice, CyberSimian. I hadn't thought of deleting the various folders, but I'll bear that in mind for any future disasters. Now I can record King & Conqueror on Sunday!
Cheers

Actually I solved this myself. I did have the correct driver (it was the only one which would work). But on the drivers download page, there was an additional item called "TBS6281se V2 Change Mode Tool". There was zero documentation to accompany this. I downloaded it and ran it. It is a tool to detect the current run state of both...
