hi.. does Moving Pictures support .dat files?

and how do i make a scrapper for yahoo movies site? such as Movie Showtimes, Synopses and Entertainment News - Yahoo! Malaysia Movies

actually, MovingPictures supports anything that MediaPortal supports. Just to verify, if you can play it with My Movies, you can with MoPi.
I also believe that the .dat extension is standard for MediaPortal.

Did you scan your movies and were they all found?

no.. only the avi files movies were found.. but when not using moving pictures on mp, i can see my dat files..

it might be that i restricted logic for .dat files a little bit too much- it will only accept .dat files part of a SVCD or HDDVD structure.
Are your .dat files standalone ?
