@2BitSculptor @greybox...and the 4th option would be to ask a dev to correct these very old hardcoded properties
Good news regarding this issue:
@ajs fixed the properties in MP code - now everything works as it should: no delay showing the now/next data, nice display with correct spaces even when using AM/PM
Again THX to @ajs for his work
This change (and the relevant XMLs for DWHD) will be part of MP 1.29 PreRelease

Yes, I deleted the old tvOverlay.xml renamed 331072_tvOverlay.xml to tvOverlay.xml.
Hope you renamed it to tvOverlay.xml - the number comes from forum (kind of item ID)

Hi folks,
we just released MP 1.29 PreRelease with new features and corrections and the here discussed changes in DWHD regarding OSDs and TV Overlay
Personal Note:
This might be a kind of "final version" of DWHD for a longer time
Reason: As I'm not sure all of you already know, I'm completely blind on my left eye and have only 50% on the right eye.
I have an artificial lens in the right eye for about 10 years now.
The surface of this lens has become roughened over the years, everything looks foggy and with little contrast - so I need a new one.
As it is really no more fun editing XMLs with desktop lens and high contrast, I´ll have to wait until I am able to pay the operation and the also necessary new glasses with a special grid surface.
Therefore I put all my efforts into this version of DWHD to give you long time fun using MP and DWHD
