Yep i think it's maybe related to FixDwm call (comment out along with focus).
So i will revert it (only FixDwm) and you can tell us if it's better, it seems that this fixdwm hack is not needed for win8/win8.1 but needed for win7.

Playback ok. Taskbar flashes when I stop the video. Didn't see a flash when I started a video.

When I stop a video, refresh rate changes back to 50 hz

But it seems that the culprit is fixdwm and i think there is no other way to fix that, except switch on Win8.

Yeah playback is good. But the task bar flashes on stop. Didn't see it when I started a video.
