TBS have stated that it should be release shortly with a full fix, the driver I have just has a quick patch and it will only work on WinXP x86.

Hi Quake

Could you send me the Driver some by email maybe? brendonhill@xtra.co.nz
I have the satelitte cable connected to port one and have channels from one transponder tuned to tuner one and channels from another transponder tuned to tuner two
Mostly works fine but randomly will not access any channels from tuner 1
Will be fine for days then may drop out 3 times a night.
Says "Unable to start timeshifting. Unable to start graph"
Restarting server gets it working again.
Have tried the two latest drivers both do the same

Thanks Brendon

Hi

My fault is still occuring. At the moment it has come up with "Unable to start graph" again when trying to veiw any channel that is mapped to Tuner A of the card
Went into TV Server config rescanned and cant get anything from Tuner A. Scanned Tuner B and it works fine.
Restarted HTPC and rescanned Tuner A still not getting anything.
Can anyone tell me what are the 2 satelite connections for on the tuner card as I am only using port 1.
Both Tuner A and B have been workin fine with input into port 1

I'm using MP 1.0.2.0 and have done fresh installs
Have tried 3 drivers, all do the same

Brendon

The two input ports on the back are for both tuners, tuner 1 is connected to the top input and tuner 2 is connected to the bottom input.

You will need two LNBs or one with two outputs.

Hi
If the two input are for each tuner how come with only input 1 connected to lnb I can successfully tune two tuners in mediaportal?
I am connected to input 1 so would think tuner A would be fine yet thats the tuner that craps out.
Seems to crap out more if i'm recording a channel from each tuner
Am working with TBS at the moment to sort it out also

Thanks
Brendon

I am considering this card also since it has dual tuners pcie and is reasonably priced. I have seen that on the website the following recommendation is given:
"Please update windows driver to V1.0.0.13 which fixes LNB1 scanning less transponders problem and frequency shifting problem."
Has anybody tried this driver version and if so does it sort the issue?
If not are there any other options currently available that are working in MP?

Actually I solved this myself. I did have the correct driver (it was the only one which would work). But on the drivers download page, there was an additional item called "TBS6281se V2 Change Mode Tool". There was zero documentation to accompany this. I downloaded it and ran it. It is a tool to detect the current run state of both...

Perhaps... Only way to confirm would be for me to invest in a different USB DVB-S2 tuner (like the Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-S2), which I might do if the issue persists.

I currently have two Quatros running, one connect, one duo using OTA antennae, mostly UHF fringe area, mostly cat5 local network. Hauppauge card retired long ago. I have also retired very early SD units, the Quatros seem to work much better than the older units. Go to SD's support website and download and install the windows...

Brief update... Hauppauge support responded quickly, stating that the "driver for all of our product confirm to the BDA format". Not sure what that means, but to test that, I downloaded a copy of Capture4Me, and indeed, it switches LNBs without any issues with minimal configuration (just set DiSEqC to 1.x A/B/C/D and select the...

It's getting weirder..... If I remove all the IP cards in the TVServer setup and then add them back I can scan the M3u and tune the stations but if I rescan it on the same card it just keeps updating the 1 channel. My brain is melting.........
