Hello everybody,

Teletext is working, but the letters are SO SMALL, you can hardly read the words. Is there any possibility to fix this issue?

regards,
Stephan

System specs and what kind of TV\Monitor, at what resolution would be a nice starter (viewing distance would be good as well, if you really want to treat us).

There exists a patch that gives the user the possibility to change the size of teletext. The TV2 part is already included, unfortunately the TVE3 part not.

    Hi,
Can't that be specified in MediaPortal Configuration -> Television -> Teletext & %?

I find teletext also quite unreadable. I'm using TVE2 with a resolution of 1360x768, already played around with the font settings.

    The screenshots in this thread:
    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/any_changes_planned_teletext-t29282.html
show the main problem of readability quite good. On 16:9 the spacing between characters is even worse.

Don't know if this was already proposed, but maybe a font with serifs would help making it more readable? Can we change the used font via skin xml files?

Sorry for the lack of information! I use MediaPortal 0.2.3.0.
I've tried several resolutions (on the monitor as well as on the TV) but even on my 70cm TV it is nearly unreadable if you look from 1m distance. The letters are very small and the gap between the characters is really big. I've set the value of "MediaPortal Configuration -> Television -> Teletext -> size" to 95% but the problem still remains.
The screenshots posted by Olodin have FAR better quality than the results I get!
I will post a screenshot of my teletext tonight when I get home from work...

Do I have to install a special font or something?

    thanx for your help,
    Stephan

Similar problem here. Size is acceptable but spacing makes it really ugly and hard to read. I think that if the TV´s normal teletext is looking good, why can't MP's? Where can we change the font?

I have the same problem. Even with 100% (the max.) set in config., the letters are too small and the space between them too large.

i love how subtitles are implemented in the MP2 videoplayer, this is just perfect. 1080p playback is also very good. But video playback in MP2 is buggy when playing 4k material.
