But for now I'm happy that it works at all :)

Thanks for your help.

Did someone test this with new released MP1.0 Final?

As a reply to my message: I found the way to use the analog part . It needed a software encoder. Also just install windvr3 trial, tha's it ( It took me 4 hours it :( )
wbr

I try it with WinDVR3, and YES it found channel !
But TV playing at MediaPortal brings only crashes and stutterd pics. Channel changing is also impossible.
I also dont get it to get DVB-C to work...
I'm one step before to send it back to Amazon and buy another more copatible one.

To use the dvb-c, I had to do 2 things: disable the ehrecvr from MCE and make the scan with help of the presets. I I try to make a scan for one frequency it crashes.

Hope it helps.

Regarding the long time to switch channels, I got the same problem on my old vista, but on the fresh vista install the switching is ok.

Switching is o.k.? Which Windows Version do you use? Is it also o.k. on a different transponder?
I have noticed the Channelchage is o.k. on the same transponder, but when changing the Transponder,
Channelchange takes much longer. Thanks for your Info and any hint regarding this.

I got this card yesterday, and just like to add.

- the drivers on the cd did not work with dvb-c (tuning found no transponders/channels), the ones on the terratec website works.
- channelchange is very slow, probably 5-10 seconds, even on the same transponder. Both my DVB-S cards are usually around 1-3 seconds.

Look in google for dvbtypeselector...

Yes, but I don't see how this relates to my post. And as you point out, it's already covered in this thread.

Arghhh

Ich dont get it to find any channel with that card.
With the org. Terratec software it works. I dont find any Analog or DVB-C channels. Allways "Nothing Found"

- I used dvbtypeselector (and plugin and out the Stick) for Analog & DVB-C selection
- I disabled ehrecvr from MCE

But it find nothing.... I life in Germany/Berlin and have a cable provider.
Possible someone has more tips to get it working ??? pleeeeeaaase !

Hi BlackWolf,

it i s not possible to Tune Transponders correctly with that Card. You have to use a Transponderlist exactly for your Cable-Provider.
Hope that helps.
