Leeetle issue. When i startup Mediaportal and go into a series, the first time it takes a little while (20-30 secs) and displays only the first episode. If i go back a level and in again, it displays everything fine. I am using the alternate image loading process since i have 10 000 or so tv episodes parsed. See attachments for examples.

You mean you import season 1, then add an ep for season 2, it identfies it and everything but not get any new season banners? Will need to check, can you check manually if it downloads the physical banners for the new season?

Yes the physical banners are there.

i had this problem too in the old version. it happened when: for example, i had imported seasons 1-6 of a show. Then, I deleted season 4. Then later, I would add new season 4 files and import them to the database. The season banner was physically in the right folder but it wasn't displayed. the only way i could get it to work was to delete the whole seires from the database and import all the files again.

This uses the new online-api, in a few weeks the old version will seize to functions (at least the online part)

Hi Inker, Been using your TVSeries plugin for about 6 months now and love it.

I have to ask the obvious, but seemingly unanswered question - Why will the current release (1.2 something) stop working? Have TheTVDB.com planned to change something?

Basically the old version of the plugin will continue working but won't be able to sync with the online tvdb because the api has changed. So if you want to add new series or update your old ones you will have to eventually get the new version.

the old interface used alot of cpu resources and only around 10% HD space. the new interface consumes much more HD space to allow for alot less cpu usage. this all came about because their old server host drop them about a month ago due to the cpu usage issue

Thanks for the info. Read several of the forums on thetvdb as well as bits of the "Programmers API" section of their wiki & have a bit of a better understanding about this now.

Wish I could offer my services for help, but my skills in programming are limited. Now if you need an installer (MSI) I can probably help.
