Thumbnailer - creates automaticly thumbnails from videos and tv recordings (1 Viewer)

Thumbnails are being generated correctly for me: video.avi produces videoL.jpg. However I can't see them in MediaPortal whether I use icons, filmstrips, etc. What am I doing wrong? I'm using MediaPortal 1.0.2.

Update: I dropped the "L" in "L.jpg" in the output setting, restarted MediaPortal and it seems to work now. Not sure if that's the cause.

Just like magic this plugin is now going for me just fine.. Have revised the mtn extention to work just great as well. One thing though, I'm not getting Folder.jpg at all for single files..

The folder.jpg are not enabled at this time... its coming on the next relase.

movie thumbnailer (mtn) is the used component, so no MP logs will help troubleshooting the issue.

Possible causes for the crash:

1) odd characters in file names
2) something odd in the file encoding

I get the same thing, which would suggest it's something unique to New Zealand.
At a guess you're using Freeview terestrial same as me. If so that would suggest someting odd in our DVB-T streams. Running mtn manually, I get much the same result with most working but the odd one crashing out.
