With MKVTagger you can tag single mkv files by draging them to tab "Custom series tag" or you can tag your whole collection as long as you have it properly added to (MP1 Plugin) TVSeries. Then you need to add the path to TVSeries DB file in MKVTagger Settings. If you have done so then you can tag your whole collection by adding the path to the series directory in "MP-TVSeries" tab. You need to expand "Write Episode Infos To XML" and press "Start". When this is finished there are lots of XML files near to your mkv files with the same name. To tag the mkv itself you need to expand the second option "Write tags into..." and press "Start" again.
MKV tags are the best way to identify video files 100% inside MP2 atm, especially as we don't have an option to manually correct things here...

ok, I thought you could tag the tvseries without MP1 plugin

You can, but only one file at once. For this the tab "Custom Series Tag" is available.
If you want to tag thousands of mkv it's much easier to set up MP1 with TVSeries only for tagging...

    Hi.
The last few installs have started with this screen
This "Screen" is the default skin for mP2 since the beginning. Later builds has set Titanium as first skin. This build seems to have "forgotten" to set titanium as primary skin..

It has only been sense the latest testing of this and one other that it started defaulting to this screen again.
Also, does this build have some sort / part of the new Importer in it?
I ask because I did a new import of Movies and Series and out of nowhere I got the following... Never seen MP2 do 2 at once before

I have also discovered the Service Monitor has UPnP issues on both server/client and client only

    Hi.
Again as for MKV tagging... For movies I have written a Tiny Media Manager export script generating necessary xml files for tagging and a little AutoIt tool to batch- tag movie- mkv files. Haven't done this for series as I'm using MP1 (TVSeries) and MKVTagger for this. But when time has come and I will completely remove MP1 I will expand those tools to handle Series also...
So if someone is in a need to tag movie mkv and (want to) use tMM, the tools I wrote can be found in forum (don't have a link handy, so please search for yourself, I think the tMM thread is a good point to start...)

Next thing what could be implemented without requiring changes to ML is the "check in" of your movies and episodes. This would required:
    • A query to ML for all Movies
    • Sending a request per item to trakt, incl. play count and "watched" (would be if playcount > 0)
This way you would have a one-direction sync to trakt already.

Only problem: this workflow process "all or nothing", as we don't locally save, what is known by trakt, we need to process the whole list at once.

This feature could be implemented in client plugin, sync code could run in background. Not sure how long it would take to submit hundreds of movies or thousands of episodes...
