How can I turn off email notification for every alert? Right now I am receiving one for everything. A bit annoying. I check the preferences but didn't find an option to turn this off or control it more in detail.

you only get an email for replys to subscribed threads, not for every possible alert. This is configurable in Settings -> below Options but only affect new threads you subscribe to.
I can disable them completely for old ones but just manually via db. If thats wanted, open up a Conversation please.

Under options there is only a "Send email on reported post?" for me. Haven't found anything e-mail related to turn off the email for replies to watched threads.
