Hi all, to cut a long story short - my media is on a file server and i'm getting media info related problems on both TV Series & Moving Pictures. Is there any way to turn off media info on TV Series?
Anyone? Please!

You can stop it by removing the mediainfo.dll from your MediaPortal binary directory. There is no setting to turn it off from with-in TVSeries configuration.
Im not sure if this will break MediaPortal or any other plugin in a bad way, but it doesnt affect TVSeries.

When I import new films using Moving Pictures, it takes an incredibly long time for the information to be found and downloaded...
maybe setting loglevel to debug might pinpoint the difference between normal and stuck?
Preferable with as much disabled as possible
also try to see if anything is happening during stuck for the mediaportal process(resource monitor, disk activity, cpu usage, anything)

MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback.
