[Bug] TV: missing audio stream in records (Sky) (2 Viewers)

The original bug which I believe we all saw a few months ago, might have been observed with a different DD driver vrsion than the current one. I guess we are now all running the latest version.

I understand that the thread starter @Brette did not point out problems with the second stream but with the third and other additional languages. Testing this will be difficult because very few movies have more than two language streams.

I'll stick to that 1.8 TVLibrary to see if I can reproduce that bug.

Mine was definitely happening on movies with only two audio tracks: german and english.
I think it would occur even when a single recording was running but not systematically.

I don't can speak for the DD Users, but from my expirence it was the second audio stream (mostly english in DolbyD) that got missing in recordings from sky cinema HD with my TBS 6981.

Ok so if you are having the same problem with non DD hardware than it's not likely to be a DD specific issue is it?

You're right. The mainproblem is not specific to DD Hardware. But with the Patch from mm it's also solved. The remaining problem is, it got side effects on DD hardware. And that is, as far I understood, mm is triyng to solve.

Hi,
you should really try this experiment with a prime-time movie on sunday on Sky Cinema when there is a one-audio-track-only show (e.g. Making Of) in the beginning.

Languages can be switched forth and back - both streams are audible

From your log files it looks like both streams were present from the start, so there will be no problem with decrypting:

So this was a good attempt, but not quite what we are looking for.

restarting Sky #2 is not possible - getting "channel is encrypted"

Again!?! Hmmmm, this is really interesting. What is especially interesting to me is that it looks like TV Server tries and fails with all three of your free tuners.

Waited past 20:15 for the start of the movie to switch back to recorded channel.
All audio streams ok.

Same also for you. The audio streams were all present at the start of the recording, so the test did not work.

With a single tuner enabled started stopped and restarted the same channel Sky Cinema HD I think it was, no issue.

I see one difference between your configurations. You have "when card enters idle state..." set to pause; Stéphane has it set to stop. Could you try and see if using stop makes any difference for restarting timeshifting on the same channel?
