After reinstalling a WinTV quad HD card and MP1.36, the TV service no longer starts automatically. A manual start is no problem. The service is set to automatic. Logs are attached. Does anyone have an idea?

I have looked at your logs, but as usual they mean mostly nothing to me. However, I did notice this line in "tvserver_SetupTv.log":
SetupDatabaseForm: Added dependency for TvService - MySQL

I don't understand the differences between MySQL and MariaDB, but I was under the impression that MariaDB is a fork of MySQL, and that the programming interfaces are mostly identical. So in the MP logs, where it makes reference to "MySQL", that applies equally to MariaDB. However, since you could have both MySQL and MariaDB installed on your system, the one place where it does matter whether the string is "MySQL" or "MariaDB" is the place where MP registers the dependency. The above log line suggests to me that MP is registering a dependency on MySQL, whereas it should be registering a dependency on MariaDB. But what do I know? As Manuel would say:
    I know nothing.
(That is a "Fawlty Towers" reference.)

If you like banging your head against a brick wall, then please continue to try to get MP 1.36 installed correctly -- you might well discover the cause of the problem. But if you simply want a working MP installation, then uninstall MP 1.36 and instead install MP 1.33. Follow the procedure described in this post.

Thank you for this note. I'll try this out once. First 1.33 and then upgrade to 1.36. I haven't performed a new installation since 1.30 and have now tried to save a lot of work with backup settings. Maybe this is where the problem lies.

Perhaps... Only way to confirm would be for me to invest in a different USB DVB-S2 tuner (like the Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-S2), which I might do if the issue persists.

Ran into this problem following an otherwise sucessful upgrade from MP 1.34 x64 to MP 1.35 x64 the CEC Remote plugin which I use just to control volume and standby, will no longer put my devices (TV & AVR) to sleep when the HTPC is put in standby. Also when I wake up the HTPC MP closes or crashes (not sure which) as per the example in...

It's getting weirder..... If I remove all the IP cards in the TVServer setup and then add them back I can scan the M3u and tune the stations but if I rescan it on the same card it just keeps updating the 1 channel. My brain is melting.........

Well, the log doesn't show any problems. I can see correctly tuned channels in the log. It seems to me that the tuner works fine. Can you copy the created ts file(located in your timeshift folder) somewhere else while in channel preview and try to play it in VLC or MPC-HC? PS: You can also try to make short record
