One thing i'd really like to see is thumbnails for my recorded tv.. am I being dumb - is there a way to enable this? I'm using TV Server in a single seat installation under vista with (pretty much) the latest SVN build.
I tried reading through the post but couldn't find the answer:
Will this work in multi-seat? I have a server with no MP installation on, can I run the plugin here and it will show up in the client? Because i wouldn't like for the client to have "more work", as right now it can be a little stressed sometimes, causing some crashes (I know, I need to format and reinstall, but haven gotten the time for it yet.
No, for the moment its jsut work on single seat enviroment (..)
But im developing now a extended version for the TvServer (plugin) and the Client (plugin).
For the moment you can show the path from the tv recordings on the share where the files are. - its a bitt slower but should work for the moment (work around)
I have just installed Windscribe but it is blocking access to my TV Server. I get the following message "Please specify the IP address or Host Name of the Master TV Service". I have a single seat build running the latest X64 version of MP1. Can anyone point me to a solution please? It's probably a really obvious one.....
Cheers
Fangio

I know, missing thumbnails for TV recordings have been discussed before. But even after tryping to follow possible solutions provided by the forum, the problem persists.
In short, I am running MP 2.5 on a Win11 system with the skin blue vision (I also tried WMC but same issue). When recording TV shows no thumbnails are created. I have...

Most (all?) small PC cases accept only ITX motherboards, which have only one PCI-E slot. So you could install only one PCI-E tuner card. A quad-tuner card would give you four tuners, but if you wanted more tuners you would need to use the TBS eight-tuner card, or use external tuners, either USB tuners (available with single or dual...

I've been using MP2 now for about 3 years:
I really happy with the way it works, although I can think of many great features I'd...
Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well. Sure I had to figure out the paths, but no big deal.
Maybe helpful for someone in the future. Thanks for the...
