Exception :confused:ystem.MissingMethodException: Method not found: 'System.Collections.Generic.IList

    Hi there :)

There is a specific update in the main IRSS thread for this error. Download, install, and you should be up again.

    Hi rekenaar,

I think I already have the latest update. I am using Test Build 1.4.2.2627, from this thread. I downloaded it two or three days ago. Is there any newer update? Do I need to install any thing other than the IRSS file?

    Thanks, Lior.

Sorry, I did not properly read your post

2627 is the correct one. Something must have gone bad.
Did you stop the TVServer while installing the new IRSS? Required to stop otherwise installer cannot overwrite.
Or did you perhaps use backupsettings-plugin afterwards that older plugin is back again?
What is your file date of the tv3blasterplugin.dll file in tvserver\plugins?

Yes, I stopped the TVServer (I killed TVServer process from the Task Manager as I don't know of a polite way to stop it).

I do not use the backupsettings-plugin.

The date on the tv3blasterplugin.dll file is 10/02/09 17:04

    Thanks, Lior.

    TV-Server Version: 1.0.0.21149
    MediaPortal Version: 1.0.0.21149

If I recall correctly, SVN 21149 was the build number of MP 1.0.0.0. So you did not apply a test SVN after that. Correct?
The new IRSS was specifically tested with SVN AFTER v1.0.0.0. I for one cannot confirm if it should be working on v1.0.0.0.

If this is indeed the situation, you have two options:
    1. Install older IRSS again
    2. Install MP SVN version. Just remember, although many members install it on production system, it is supposed to be used for testing.

    Rekenaar,

First I gotta tell you how much I appreciate your fast and helpful support!
    :D
You are correct, this is the 1.0.0.0 release with no later SVN.
Where do I find an older version of IRSS? I saw references to build 1.4.2.2391 in the main thread, but I could not find the download (I prefer to try that before installing a non-release SVN)

    Thanks, Lior.

I will put the older version back in that 1st post of the IRSS thread, but unfortunately I will only be able to do it in about 13 hours. Sorry :(

    Success!

    :D

It is working. MP is blasting its way through the channels. The 2391 build works fine with MP 1.0.0.0 Release.

For some reason it did not go smoothly. I did encounter the problem mentioned earlier, when the plugin STB setup blasted correctly, but the channel preview, and MP itself, did not.
I am not sure why, but an uninstall and reinstall of the IRSS solved the problem.

Anyway, many thanks rekenaar, your support was extremely helpful!
    Lior.
