TV3 Blaster Plugin: Failed to start local comms. IR functions temporarily disabled (1 Viewer)

I have upgraded from MP 1.0.0 to 1.0.2.

Since the upgrade wile accessing the 'TV3 Blaster Plugin for IR server' from the TV-Server Configuration, I get the "Failed to start local comms. IR functions temporarily disabled" error. Obviously the server is not blasting.

I have installed the latest test version 1.4.2.2391 .

I have installed the latest test version 1.4.2.2391 .

Actually the latest version is 1.4.2.2627, which is the version that must be used with the latest MediaPortal. Also remember to reboot after installing and configuring this Plug-in....

Sorry to bring up this old thread.

After 3 years now I have facing the exact same problem ("Failed to start local comms. IR functions temporarily disabled") but with the following configuration.

MP 1.2.2
IRSS 1.4.2.4290.
Windows 7.

I have disabled all plugins including 4TR. The following is the content of the error log in TV Server.

Looks like there is some problem with the combination of IRSS 1.4.2.4290 & MP 1.2.2. I had to install the blaster patch by torrinha (https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/attachments/blast-zip.89512/) in the thread https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...r-ir-functions-disabled-fix-in-thread.100944/ to get it working.
