What about ip-television support ? I mean watching and recording IP television...

It's so easy to create a little plugin for MediaPortal...

What there is difficult to do?

We just open Socket to the URL (for example) mms://195.15.10.103:80/stream and get from there video content, so that User can see IP TV channel. And when it is necessary for him to record TV stream, he just click on the special button in the MP interface, that button runs the special Function, which will save all data from mms://195.15.10.103:80/stream to user`s HDD.

And if it's so difficult for u to do the special functions and mediaplayer, u can use embedded Microsoft Windows Media Player component for just watching IP-TV, without record.

I can't see any REALLY problem!?

Unfortunately i don't know C# ;((

I cant see any really problem to learn c#? May be for u it will take 5-6 hours, so the IP Television support will be finished tomorrow, i think.

I don't know the parameters, but it must be possible to play mms-streams via VLC. You can integrate it with the myProgram-plugin. I gave it a try, but as I has written, I don't know the parameters which are necessary to play mms-streams.

So we need only a guy who is familiar with the parameters of VLC. Then it should work :D

Just for example:
Add this url http://tv.gldn.net/rbc to the "Streaming radio" list.

Then run MP, and in the main menu select My Radio, then click on the streaming radio station with url http://tv.gldn.net/rbc.

So that, in the little area on the left bottom of window u will see that video stream, and u can switch that to fullscreen.

As i see, for Internet radiostations MP uses standart WMP(Windows Media Player) component.

I guess, i should think about learning C#...

Hi, First off: there are some issues with the latest Mediaportal (32bits vs 64bits), so that is one of the issues you're stumbling with. If you take the previous version (1.31) it should work as expected. For IPTV there is also a different option (with different pros and cons): Onlinevideos. I'm using that sometimes for my IPTV as...
