In 1.1.1 still works; and still faster then RTSP, but again; when clean installed; recordings are not handled correctly. Need to manualy modify tvserver recording (custom path), to get it to work;

hi,

Non rtsp streaming fixes my channel switching problems, but some of my recordings doesn't work anymore.
The failed recording are recorded when no client was on, they play when I switch back to rtsp.
If there is a client on when recording, then it works.

It seems that the failed recording dind't get media info from mediainfo.dll.(located on the client)

"Boer zkt Vrouw - VTM - 2010-10-11.ts" plays fine and "Vlaanderen Vandaag 2010-10-05\Vlaanderen Vandaag.ts" not.

I have the this problem on all my clients.

Been using this successfully since 1.0.2, but I must be missing something now that Ive upgraded to 1.1.1 ... as I cant find the required mediaportal.xml anywhere on the server or client.

I think you have to run config at least once so the file is created...

THanks, but have been in and out of the Mediaportal Config quite a few times (eg have got 4TR working etc) and still no sign. a Search of all the local drives only brings up copies of my backups I made before uninstalling and upgrading

You can't find it under Documents and Settings? (ie. C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Programdata\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\)

MediaPortal.xml is required to set skin, plugins etc. so you do have it somewhere on your drive. Which OS?
