Posting your problems and logs here increases the chance I'll look over them or forget to answer them. Please use a new topic! It's also highly appreciated if you could state which client you are using (aMPdroid, WebMediaPortal or something else) that causes this problem.

What are the recommanded settings to play live tv and movies on the ipad? I tried http streaming with proxy setting but no stream starts. Any suggestions?

very nice work! i just supported by buying the pro app.
but there is one think i realy miss. My whole music collection is in flac, but if i want to stream flac its not working.
is it possible to include a flac profile?
i only found the one for MP3:

Can you try HTTP Streaming with Direct, and post your logs?

It should already convert FLAC to MP3 to stream them, but it doesn't always work. It's on our TODO list.

The service log files too please...

Also, something (a proxy maybe?) seems to insert garbage at the front of URLs, which might cause problems too.
