Hmpf, the only thing your logs tell me is that it fails to create the system tray icon.. Did you do anything special with it?

Could be useful if we don't crash in that case though, so I'm going to put it on the list for 0.6.

Nope, nothing special done. If I launch it again once Windows has finished booting it works OK.

I've noticed that sometimes Comodo Firewall's icon is missing from the notification area after booting as well though. It doesn't cause it to crash and cfp.exe is running but I have to launch that again as well after Windows has finished booting to make the icon appear (it doesn't create another instance of cfp.exe, just makes the window appear which I can then minimise to the tray).

EDIT: I remembered (because it just happened!) that sometimes when booting it doesn't crash but where the notification area icon should be, there's just a blank space. I can still right-click on that space and get the normal options.

The IIS user. IUSR probably doesn't have permission to read the performance counters. If you run the application pool as a regular user it'll probably work.
    Problem solved!

It seems that in IIS (Windows 8) the default user is 'ApplicationPoolIdentity', and that user is just a bit too restricted.

LocalSystem, LocalService and NetworkService all work to enable the CPU and RAM feature. LocalService would be the best option here, because LocalSystem has too much privileges and I don't think MPExtended would need to acces the network, so NetworkService isn't needed too. So I switched to LocalService and problem solved.

For Oxan, It might be useful to add this to your manual?

    Hi all,

Anyone is having not-fluid video while playing any content using webmediaportal (audio ok)? I've tested it in two different computers... same result... Using Flash LQ profile, so low bitrate, any 2-3 year old machine shouldn't have any problem playing that content... BTW I can see youtube videos in 720p with no problem...

I've tested with Chrome and IE9... Anyone? Ok with VLC using the .m3u link provided.

EDIT: I've done some more test... I've narrowed down my issue a little more... I can see SD files (including recorded TV SD channels) fluid... but I can't see HD files or any live TV (SD&HC) fluid. I've done this test: watch live sd channel... Stutters... Then record some minutes, stop recording, and watch it... No problem... ¿¿??

That's strange... I'll look into it.

Yes. I haven't looked at Win8 much at all, so the docs might be lacking a bit in that regard. Feel free to go ahead and edit the wiki ;)

Streaming is complicated, and it's hard to say anything about the performance without performing detailed tests. It's probably related to some interaction between the Flash player and our server. We're continually working on improving streaming, but I can't help you with your specific problem at the moment ;)

Would it be possible to get support for the MyAnime/JMM databases?
Due to the amount of time and work it costs to add support for another database, I personally won't add support for other databases. However, it's quite easy for other people to implement database support, and I'll be happy to help them with it. So you'll need to find someone else who wants to implement it.

I've found a bug since v0.5.3. Loading stylesheets and javascript files does not work when not logged in, so the login page shows without style.

    edit:
weird, when accessing by localhost adress, it does work. All files in the /Skins/BlueShift/ folders, other then the login page aren't accessible. Thy redirect to the login page, so the content of these files is the same as the login page.

Are you using IIS or IIS Express, and which version?

    I'm using IIS v7.5.7600.

I kind of found the issue. I use basic verification. When I enable anonymous verification, there is no problem. Basic verification did work with v0.5.2, I didn't even have to log into WebMP anymore which was great. Now I have to login twice (1: basic, 2: webmp). I actually used Windows-verification back then I think.

    edit:
And I've found some sort of solution. I can disable basic verification for WebMP only.. But still, loading these css/js files should work when logged in using basic verification, doesn't it?

Well I would be willing to try if it's not too difficult. Just let me know what the process looks like and if it is indeed over my head, I'll ask some of the JMM devs to help me out

Hello, I am a new user, I must say this is great work you are doing.
Can you please help me and is there a solution, I would like to change aspect ratio of stream but I cannot seem to manage that.
I tried everything, created a new streaming profile in StreamingProfiles.xml but with no luck.
I am using iphone 5 that has bigger screen and I would like to stream accross entire screen. When I enlarge this stream then upper and down end are trimmed away. So I need aspect ratio help.

    Thanks a lot.

    Best regards everyone!!
