great work cybrmage
SHUT UP!!!... don't remind people... or the'll want it integrated into the driver!!! 8-}

ha... there's a scary thought! editing fonts using my mp remote! argh

I've got it all functioning and exporting the relevant xml - just need to make it user friendly (all accessed via a web browser so no need to integrate either ;) )

now back to trying to (re) configure a fresh install.... gggrrrrr

(display all working well though!)

Here is todays version of the driver...

Changed: Disk Icon handling... changed and new options for Disk Icon display
Added: "Use Disk Icon" option (Ability to turn off the Disk Icon completely).

:D Why I don't like the disk icon? --> It's a bit flashy and distracting.

On a second guess, I'm a "VFD-guy", because I prefer the simplicity of its appearance.
My settings at the moment: pure text, no icons. It's a classy style, fitting to the rest of
    my hifi - equipment.

I'll try the new version asap.

ok... all is good except for replacing the core.dll (with the last version I could find) has stopped my music playback working all together :(

You are using the RC3 distributaion... You need to be using a very recent SVN (After 11_02_2007) nightly build (and the "replacement" core.dll is not required...)

The "replacement" core.dll was a temporary "fix" while we waited for the changes to the BassAudioEngine be updated to SVN.

    my bad....

I'd put it on right now and give it a go if only the wife wasn't "taping" stuff.... ggrrrr might have to wait until the weekend :(

Just saying thanks. Been fighting the beast that is my iMon LCD. This is the only media centre that seems to support it. Not only that, but after review Myth and Sage this actually looks prettier! I'm very happy that the google searches ended up getting me to MediaPortal.

Without the disk icon (11-05-2007), everything is working fine - display restarts after hibernate, MP crashes no longer. The exception I mentioned earlier, is also gone. And the best part - I never liked the icon anyway :D

The EQ is nice, but is there a possibility to cycle track informationen and the EQ? Or - a way to switch what
    the display is showing?

Would be awesome, e.g. to switch the display off via remote ;)

    Best regards :D

    context menue?

First of all: many thanks for creating this driver, great work cybrmage!!!

Everything works great for me, I just have one question: Would it be possible to have the display also show the content of a context menue? I am using it mainly to listen to music without switching on the TV and the selection of playlists works through a context menue. When i choose that, the display only shows context menue, but not the different options. Not a big issue for me, but if that could be included it would be perfect.

Again, thanks for the great work!

I can verify that the display is working correctly with the newest update. If you leave the refresh limit unchecked it will lock the display up, requiring a hard reboot (I think this was already known).

On another note, If i shut my PC down after closing mediaportal, the display stays on displaying the time. Is there a way around this?

Thanks for all the great work!
