Managed to get mine all up and running (Antec Fusion Black with LCD) after a little bit of fiddling, but it seems I can make MP crash by enabling the "Top Line" as volume advanced option. I'm running under Vista and without the option switched on, the LCD behaves as expected (although it would be nice if some of the other elements of the LCD were utilised as it is with Windows Media Center e.g. speaker status), but when I enable the option the display works navigating the GUI, but on playing a video the LCD clears and I get alerts from Vista that MP has crashed (but the video and main GUI continues). Enabling the bottom line doesn't cause any problems.
I've tried 3 different versions of the SG_VFD.dll file (the one with MP, the one downloaded via this thread and the one with v7 beta of iMon that's installed). The latter btw, when copied into the drivers folder causes the config program to display an error about some entry point being missing.
I'm not near my machine at the moment to get a log (not that I'm 100% sure how to enable it anyway), but wondered if in the meantime if anyone else has tried this option?
Cheers,
Taomyn
