Ok... I'll repeat it ONCE!... The driver is not detecting your display. Set the display type to LCD!. Then run MediaPortal and post the logs.

Also... Try shutting down the iMON manager.

Hello again,

i tried it with LCD and nothing. I'm not so stupid that i will not understand what you write.
it seems that when mediaportal starts the usb display will be disconnect and immediately reconnected because there is this windows sound for that even when mediaportal starts. I'm really nervous about that.

Please help me, here's the new logfile

Hello,

i've the Silverstone GD01 too and my display doesn't work. (process.dll from 12/03 and MP 02.3.0)

MP can "start the display" (after turned off iManager the display turned off) but in MP only the clock is displayed.

If I use the latest Software from Silverstone (6.02) everything works fine.
Now i tried the latest Software from Soundgraph (6.01) and the display can not be detected. I made a clean windows installation - still the same (no Hardware detected).

Perhaps that is the reason why somebody get the display working and anotherone not.

Has anybody the same experiences?
Does someone with Silverstone GD01 has a working display (with MP)?

Thanks

Hello again,

there are different Versions of the SG_VFD.dll:
Silverstone Version that was packaged and can be downloaded (6.02) Version: 6.2.0.829
Soundgraph Version (6.01) Version: 5.1.0.1201

The firmwareversion of the LCD is 0x3801

To better play,

Copy the SG_VFD from your sound graph directory (will be ver 6.2.0.89) into your c:\prog Files\Team MEdia Portal\Media POrtal directory (it will overwrite existing version)

Put the latest processplugins.dll into your plugins\process folder (likely to overwrite again)

In imon manager, set Frontview to NEVER start

Enable external display from the MP plugin screen, configure type to be Soundgraph imon intergrated etc and port to be USB. UNder advanced tab, set to LCD manually.

You'll also probaby want the my keys plugin

Works well for me

Hello Ramjet99,

thanks for your answer. I made it exactly like you wrote, but the LCD still won't work: The LCD turns off > On MP start the Display shows only the clock (whatever i do im MP) > and the clock lasts (also after reeboot)
After that i can manually start FW (always on or automatic mode) and everything works fine...until i start MP.

Hmmm,

check that iMon is running at all times or MP can't access it.

Make sure you DONT have the "use third party plugins" enabled in imon manager.

Use the Silverstone sanctioned version of iMon (rather than beta one from Soundgraph)

I know I mucked around a lot before getting this right too.

Thanks for making this possible!
I really didn't imagine it would be this easy to configure and use my lcd (imon from a silverstone LC20 case).

Had this issue once... I thought I fixed it by completely powering off my LCD... disconnecting it from both the usb as the power.
Hope this helps!
