Vista Problem - Loses channels (1 Viewer)

When I start the program all the channels work fine then after a short time it wont let me change, it says "Not Tuner Can Recive...X"

Where do i get the log file from?

Hello,

Close MP
In C:/Program files/Team mediaportal/mediaportal/log erase all the log.
Sart MP
Use the TV, when you got the problem, close MP.
Zip all the log and add the zip on your message.

Thanks for the help.
Didnt have C:/Program files/Team mediaportal/mediaportal/log , I had to run MPTestTool2.exe as Administrator.

It seems to be something to o witht he EPG, when I uncheck "grab EPG from DVB" it seems to work ok, but I get no EPG :-(

Why when 0.2.3.0 final is there, I would also be running TVE3 with a DVB card (version 16361 25\10 was working flawlessly for me).

Have you got UAC disabled when you installed\run MP, Vista specific path problem.

I didnt notice the final came out sorry, Ive installed it, same problem. When "Grab EPG from DVB" is enabled it loses its channels, wen you try and change channels it says "Tuner Cannot Receive..."
What is TVE3?
When i installed MP it was ran as Administrator and when I run the config or the actual progam it is ran as Administrator.

do u mean by UAC disabled?
I did origonally post this in the newcomers fourm, thats why im a bit of a newb. Ive had the program for about a year never had this problem tho. Just recently done a format and reinstall, only difference this time is I did not put a user account on it.

If when you try and run a install program, does the screen go white with a box asking if you meant to run that program.

TVE3 works as a permanently activated process on your pc, so it will record\grab epg without MP running, it also has the ability of standby\hibernate for recordings, it will also let you record more than 2 dvb-t channels at a time, as long as they are on the same mux, TVGuide shows you which other channels have the potential to record at same time (Coloured differently).
