I installed MP 1.2.2. When I try to install the webbrowser I get the error message 'dependancy check error' What is the reason and more importantly, how do I solve it? Without this plugin no video online or other web info. Very annoying.

Pls use the latest BrowseTheWeb - that works. The other one is for 1.1.x versions of MP and no longer supported...
For on line videos you should use the OnlineVideos plugin

Thanks for your prompt answer. However where do I find the latest 'browsetheweb plugin', the one on the sight (found by searching, is version 0.1.7. That's the one that gives the error. I have some more questions, but I want to tackle this problem first

Thanks. I downloaded browsetheweb version 3.2. No error message! So far so good. I am now left with a few more messages. one that shows up in different situations is 'NO URL' If you need more detailed info I'd have to sit down and take my time do some more analysing, but maybe you can give me a hint beforehand.

Maybe the server is/was too busy when you tried to authenticate.
I occasionally run into that too, also with the opensubtitles api I regularly get 429's... there isn't much that can be done about it, except making sure the software isn't hammering the service and having patience...

I just had to reinstall my MePo due to windows 11 upgrade.
And since i was told MePo 2 is not being maintaind, i thought well lets...
Fixed, I think.
Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this.
