Neither sf.net nor open source tools like SVK (which would not need anything configured at sourceforge) are reliable enough for an automatic syncing. Therefore we need to use their only official import method and use webdav uploads. Those are done on a regular base and will be queued to update the public SVN.

SVN is now again totally out of sync since two days :-(

Two days isnt that much of delay, just thing how much you have to wait for commercial applications to be able to provide source codes :)

ps. Microsoft just released some Windows 2003 kernel source codes under academic license...

i know i know but at the moment i'm completely working on my patchset (see signature) with SVN and the SVN which is available at the moment is not usable for me (live TV Bug) and in the past the SF SVN was up to date everytime - this was really useful.

In the past SF SVN was completely unsuable for the team members. For example I spent one evening when fetching diffs between different SVN releases when hunting down one bug. It took approx 5 hours to fix the bug, where 4,5 hours were spent waiting for SVN to do its job and the last 30 minutes for actualyl fixing the bug once it was found.

We I spent some free time with developing MP I definately dont want to do by watching SVN progress bar :) I hope you understand that it was just a nescessary thing to swich our own SVN server.

yeah i really understand that and i know that and MP is really great it is the best software for HTPC which exist. But why not syncing every two hours both SVN servers via cronjob? Or make your SVN public for access - for people who want (for example me :) )?

After many hours of troubleshooting I've given up and accepted that it's just "one of these things" when using madVR for watching live TV. I've now ticked the box to "Use EVR for LiveTV", with a default display refresh rate of 50Hz. In combination with tweaking some of the Nvidia 3D settings for the MP executable only, I now have a...

Greetings to all Denizens of the land of MediaPortal... It seems our Zap2XML/GraceNote access is broken again. I (as many others) have been using the latest NewZap2xml_6 and it has worked flawlessly. A few days ago it all died. I wonder if anyone is working a solution to save the masses. I am hoping the good citizen of past is...

I don't know about MP2 but as you said you tried MP1 too, how is the MP music config ? MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback. If you you don't have multichannel music you can choose WASAPI as the output and set the number of speakers to stereo. I have...
