I would like to see this updated too. It's still on 20960 (28 November 2008)...
Is there an alternative source where we can find the updated code, or do we just need to wait a bit longer?
Can we get a merciful developer to push the button again please? Current revision is 21048 (8 December 2008).

I am in the process of setting up a legacy media player (Mede8er) which I happened to have laying around into my home cinema setup...
Maybe the server is/was too busy when you tried to authenticate.
I occasionally run into that too, also with the opensubtitles api I regularly get 429's... there isn't much that can be done about it, except making sure the software isn't hammering the service and having patience...
