NFO, Covers, Fanart

Great plugin,

I will vote for the logos for sure, but would also like to support NFO, Covers and Fanart the same way XBMC does makes it really easy when reorganizing media, or setting up a new machine.

XBMC simply will scan the folder the movie is located in first for the files.

Example

mymovie.avi
mymovie.tbn (cover - jpg with different extension)
mymovie-fanart.jpg
mymovie-fanart1.jpg
mymovie.nfo (XML Files)

If you would like I can send you a couple of NFO files to look at.

Thanks

Sorry, but it seems we want everything ;-)

For me personally, i'd most appreciate more information on the file itself (like in XBMC)... like Resolution (720p or 1080p), Languages, Subtitels,...

I'd like to suggest an improvement to the Media Sources.
Most users (all?) has already added their movie folders to MediaPortal's Movie Folders. When launching Moving Pictures for the first time it should have those listed by default rather then requiring the user to add them again.

Also please allow users to enter a path manually (for copy+paste support) instead of only allowing to browse for a folder :D

Manual import path entry is coming.

As far as importing import paths from MyVideos, I'd consider adding that as part of a migration wizard or something. I have thought about setting something up to do a one time read from an Ant Movie Database (MyFilms) as well. At this point in the game I think anything that helps people transition to this plug-in is a good idea. I don't however think I will be making MyVideos import paths show up by default. Mainly because Moving Pictures and MyVideos manage different content. MyVideos is a general video file manager, not exclusively devoted to movies. Moving Pictures not really meant for anything but movies. I have elaborated a little bit on this over here.

Also, if Moving Pictures were to set the My Video paths automatically, that could lead to disastorous results (some shares do have pin codes for a reason, you don't want your gf/kids to see your "secret" porn titles while browsing the romantic comedies, right?). :D

Big :D for this great Plugin. A great wish is a wiki with "step by step" guide!
