I don't want to end up spending more time on getting an unsupported combination in VS2010 to work as to actually create stuff, so I'll stick with my VS2008 image :)

Kay, what url do you use to connect to the SVN repository at SourceForge from VS2008 using AnkhSvn? Just tried a lot of variants, but none of them seems to work.

koen i have you send an pm

    without""

so if have removed gemx web if as source i think and hope the new webif that will come out is the better choice

and it much easier for us without double code with switches

here now an Sample view for setup

    No - what is gemx?
have you switch dns to ip in the tv setup console ?
No - I'm not sure what you mean by the TV console. I don't know how to do this.
is the mce client x86 ?
By client, do you mean the extender or the main PC. The main PC is Windows 7 64 bit.
have you allowed MCE in the client Firewall ?
Again, not sure what you mean by client. The MCE extender is allowed through the firewall to link with main PC

Thanks for the help in your second language. I think I'm technically out of my depth here.

    ok you need :

    - Mediaportals TvServer
    - Gemx Webinterface for TvServer (Oxans custom build works too) https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...ersion-mediaportal-1-1-1-mpwebservices-o2.zip

this both must be installed and running

if both installed then start MediaPortal Tv Server console (SetupTv)

under server can you change the Hostname to IP without this can you not see an stream in windows mediacenter
under plugins should be an plugin with the name "Gemx WebService" enable this
the next step is configure this plugin and restart the Tv Service ( Manual Control )

now can you test if the web interface runs start Internet explorer type the ulr into address field and hit enter / return

if you now see the channels than run the interface if not post me the informations from the box

so install the MCE Client Plugin after this Start Windows Mediacenter under More Programs shouldbe the plugin
start this the setup screen should be viewed
there type the IP and Port in the TextBoxes
    and save

this MCE PLUGIN RUNS ONLY ON PC s NOT ON EXTENDERS!!

Thanks Kay - I'm not sure if my lack of technical expertise and your second language is hindering our communication:

ok you need :under server can you change the Hostname to IP without this can you not see an stream in windows mediacenter
Do you mean the Hostname is the letters "IP", or am I supposed to put a numerical IP address here?

the ulr into address field and hit enter / return
What URL (ulr?) am I supposed to enter here?

so install the MCE Client Plugin after this Start Windows Mediacenter under More Programs shouldbe the plugin
Which MCE client plugin - the LiveRadio and LiveTV v2 zip files?

there type the IP and Port in the TextBoxes
    and save
What IP address and Port number do I enter here?

However, if this won't work on extenders it may be of no use to me.
