Hi guys!

I'm thinking of to connect a wiimote as a remote to mediaportal. Have any of you done it before and have experience of it?

Yes i think its possible though I have not configured the whole end to end solution.
    You'll need a bluetooth adatper
Bluetooth software stack for your PC
    GlovePIE

Then map the various buttons to key press that map to mediaportal functions.

Google is your friend for the items above.

    cheers

    Hey davids any progress?
I have tried this yesterday and now I've seen your post!
Windows 7 64 + bluetooth adapter and I can synchronize the wiimote with windows if I start IR Server Suite (2 central LEDs steadily on) OR GlovePIE at the correct time.
I would like to use IR Server Suite (I already use it with IMON usb) but the wiimote dosen't work transparently.
Any script / configuration file useful? Something to do inside mediaportal configuration.exe?

    regards

Thank you for this tip! I'm moving MP TV Server to a new machine. I installed the 64-bit version and most of the MP firewall rules were set to Public. I couldn't connect to the new TV Server from my old single-seat installation running 32-bit until I changed all MP-related firewall rules on the new machine to Private. Before I did...

4.5 is really old. I'm not sure 4.5.5 even is a version that actually existed. You should be able to install .NET Framework 4.8.0 on Windows 7 SP1

I do not know why this xml was in my theme folders, it must have sneaked in some time ago (years?). I simply removed the file. The Latest Media Handler plugin seems to be working as expected. I've had no lock-ups.
